Check out my amazing engagement photos taken by the incredibly talented and extremely fun Bobbi + Mike! I must say, I breathed a huge sigh of relief after I saw the photos, my irrational fear of looking like a total idiot with a huge cheesy smile (think 8th grade yearbook picture) was completely put to rest!

The Weekend
Flowers, cakes and a guest list oh my! This weekend lots of wedding planning happened, Ka Pow! Flower consultations, cake searching (yum!) and working on the guest list filled my weekend. Needless to say, quite a few items were knocked off the list. Which feels very, very good...for all you engaged and married ladies out there, I think you know the feeling!
Below are a few of my inspirations for my flowers and a cake...

Chambray Love!
Chambray shirts are popping up all over the place. And they
should, they are easy to style, comfortable and perfect for when you don’t know
what to wear.
Chambray shirts make me laugh just a teeeeeny weeeeeny bit
though. Especially when I remember that as an 8 year old, I wore my denim “chambray”
shirt everywhere and with everything (Anyone else ever notice that the trends
you thought were awful when you were a kid are now super rad?)! Oh if I had
only known I was super fashionable, I really thought I was being a tomboy.
Since I doubt I could fit into my childhood shirt, I broke
down and bought this chambray shirt from Gap. I can't wait to style it like this...
